1983 Rolls Royce Camargue
1983 Rolls Royce Camargue

1983 ROLLS-ROYCE CAMARGUE TWO-DOOR COUPE The Camargue is Rolls-Royce's top-of-the-line model. It is a two-door sedan manufactured and marketed by Rolls-Royce Motors from 1975-1986.; it was built in limited numbers with only 19 being produced in 1983. This Italian Pininfarina designed Rolls-Royce is one of the most unique and coveted of all the modern-day Rolls-Royces. These are among the last of the truly hand-crafted Rolls-Royce models; Rolls-Royce no longer exists as it had for nearly 100 years. It is now owned by the industry giant BMW; motorcars are no longer constructed in Crewe, England but are instead being practically mass-produced with many German parts. The care, quality and craftsmanship that went into building this great marque is far superior to what they are building today. Designed by Paolo Martin at Pininfarina, the Camargue was the first post-war production Rolls Royce not designed in-house. With bodywork manufactured in London by Rolls Royce’s coachbuilding division Mulliner Park Ward, the Camargue reached a production of 530 units over 11 model years. At launch, the Camargue was the Rolls-Royce’s flagship and the most expensive production car in the world. The Camargue shared its platform with the Rolls-Royce Corniche and Silver Shadow. It was powered by the same 6.75 L V8 engine as the Silver Shadow, although the Camargue was slightly more powerful. • VERY GOOD CONDITION • RARE AND DESIRABLE • ONLY 45,000 ORIGINAL MILES • TREMENDOUS INVESTMENT • THE MOST EXPENSIVE PRODUCTION CAR AT THE TIME • A COLLECTOR'S DREAM • FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING • NEW TIRES • ONE OF 19 BUILT FOR 1983 • AM/FM CASSETTE STEREO • POWER 4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES • POWER WINDOWS • INCLUDES ORIGINAL BOOKS • POWER SEATS Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 ** FREE Consignment
