1969 Mercury Cougar
truly special 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, finished in its striking original Yellow, and cherished by the same family for over five decades. My father purchased this car for my mother in 1970, and it was passed down to me in 1999. Always kept in the San Francisco Bay Area, this Eliminator has enjoyed careful ownership, thoughtful maintenance, and respectful preservation throughout its life. Power comes from a 390ci V8 paired with a C6 automatic transmission, backed by a 9-inch open rear end with 3.25 gearing—a combination that delivers smooth, confident performance. The original engine block was replaced in 1975 with correct 390ci block while keeping its original heads. A complete engine rebuild performed in 2006 at approximately 130,000 miles. Front and Rear Suspension rebuilt in 2006. The transmission was rebuilt in 2008 at 137,000 miles. This car starts easily, runs strong, and drives with confidence, fully capable of long road trips without issue. The car presents as a solid #2– / #3+ condition vehicle. In 2017, it received a complete exterior repaint, with all rust properly removed and replaced with new metal—no shortcuts. The front seats were redone using NOS Comfort Weave vinyl, maintaining factory-correct appearance and feel. Custom sound system installed while remaining stock in appearance. Very nice original car with it's original 327/300hp engine (original stamp not a restamp like most are!) and 4 speed transmission and all original colors (980 code Trophy blue paint and 418 code blue vinyl interior) ...the interior is mostly original and very nice! Paint was finished about 10 years ago and is still looking very nice with beautiful original body lines. The top is like new and not even wrinkled and that's why I didn't put it down but it works perfectly! Every light works perfectly (have video for that too) Knockoff wheels are from the 90's (more safe bolt on style) and in excellent condition with correct tires, as you can see. '193 OBS F150, XLT, 302, E40D Automatic, long bed, regular cab, two tone, minimal rust, power windows, power door locks, functional push button 4WD, functional R12 A/C, all with 126,000 original miles. This truck is a true survivor. Interior shows wear, but all is functional, minus the driver window regulator. Seat is intact, carpet needs cleaned or replaced. Door panels have stress cracks, but aren't destroyed. Dash and trim is clean and free of cracks. Stock stereo with tape player and speakers work well. Starts, runs and drives well. Brakes are solid, but will need hoses from calipers to hard lines replaced eventually. Front glass is not original and is cracked. Body shows some surface rust repairs in the past, around the rear wheel wells, but was not rusted through inner well. Has a few bubble spots on the skirts, but overall fenders, doors and bedsides very straight and clean. Inside of bed is fairly straight and clean as well. Rocker panels are intact and have minimal surface rust. Frame has surface rust, front fuel tank straps need replaced. Rear most spring hanger on RH side needs replaced. Frame appears to have been coated or sprayed in the past, would be easy to lift bed and recoat for future protection. Radiator support has some rust at the mount perches and will need some attention before it gets out of hand. I was told both fuel tanks and pumps were cleaned/replaced, but I've only used the front tank. Has wired tow hitch and goose neck hitch. Newer (2022) Mastercraft Courser MXT 32' off road tires. Steering is tight and centered. Has oil drip from front seal and possibly rear main. Has had a front cover and water pump, as well as an HD radiator replaced recently. Rear brakes recently adjusted and new wheel cylinders installed. Very minimal dings and scratches. 1989 Dodge Ramcharger
This Garnet Red and Platinum Silver 1989 Dodge Ramcharger LE 4×4 was sold new in Washington, and it was registered in Nevada before l purchased it and now is currently registered and titled under my name in Nampa Idaho where it currently resides. The power steering, suspension, brakes, and drivetrain were refreshed before the vehicle was primarily kept in storage for the past 10 years. The truck features three-quarter-ton axles with 4.10:1 gearing in addition to a limited-slip rear differential, Bilstein shocks, Flowmaster mufflers, Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, 16″ alloy wheels, and a brand new Borgeson steering gearbox and shaft. Its Bordeaux Red interior has cloth upholstery, front bucket seats, power windows and locks, a folding rear bench, and a Sony stereo with Bluetooth. The truck was finished at the factory in Garnet Red and Platinum Silver, and its silver portions have been refinished, while the red paint has some areas of oxidized clearcoat. Other exterior details include a hood ornament, a roof vent, a rear wind deflector, and a receiver hitch. And a brand new windshield.  The 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 285/75 Michelin LTX A/T tires. Bilstein 5100 Series shock absorbers, Rancho steering stabilizers, and vacuum-assisted front disc brakes with ventilated rotors are paired with rear drums for stopping power.  The front captain’s chairs and the folding rear bench are trimmed in Bordeaux Red cloth, and the cabin has a color-keyed headliner and carpets as well as power windows and locks, a center console, and a Sony CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The air conditioning was just serviced & converted to R134a. Now blows very cold.  A two-spoke steering wheel fronts the woodtone instrument panel, which has an 85-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 49k miles which i believe to be true actual mileage as the vehicle sat in storage for 10yrs. At very most its 150k which is still very low for this age vehicle.  The 360ci V8 was factory equipped with a 2 barrel TBI and was rated at 185 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque when new. Its dual exhaust system has Flowmaster mufflers, and a set of stainless-steel headers are included in the sale.  The drivetrain has a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission, an NP241 dual-range transfer case, Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, and a limited-slip rear differential. The seller added three-quarter-ton axles with 4.10:1 gears. Carfax from prior owner shows no accidents. And has been in none since. Since I won this on BAT I have put well over $3000 into it with all receipts and many photos of the work as I was doing it. Completely rebuilt TBI, me new in tank Delphi pump, screen and all new lines & filter. New Borgeson steering gearbox and shaft. New high/low pressure power steering lines New Bluetooth radio, all speakers and wiring. New brake booster and master. New wiper motor and pump and control unit.
