  • Description:Used 1973 Buick Riviera GS for sale - $30,000.00 with 137,000 miles. 1973 Riviera GS Survivor all original 1973 Buick Riviera GS. All-original Survivor. VIN 4Y87U3H436431 Last year for the boattail. Only 3,931 made that year, fewer with factory console shift and even fewer with factory power sunroof installed by GM's American Sunroof Company (instruction papers from the glove box included as pictured). A few things do need repair, but everything is here. Perfect for a full restore, or you can just drive as-is and enjoy the honks, thumbs and stares while she grows in respect and value as heads turn. Owned since 2014, preceded by my dad who owned it since early '80s. I have no documentation from before that. Mileage is estimated since the odo broke on him at 28,900 (128,900 I guess) and as soon as I bought it from him I had that fixed.  I've put on about 1k per summer, so I estimate she has around 150k.  Cruise works, too, though like '70s vacuum cruise...works. Drips a little oil, but the appraiser said all classics do. Never in snow since Dad bought it; never in rain intentionally and always garaged by both of us. Dad had the half-vinyl roof removed and repainted the entire car a similar white to the original color. Very few dings and scratches. Paint shines great for its age; a good coat of carnauba wax each spring is all she needs. All chrome is good-to-great with no dings or bends. Wheels and taillight trim have a little pitting. Starts/runs normally; only smokes a little on start-up sometimes, probably normal for 1973. The choke on the Quadrajet carburetor I had rebuilt (and only run non-ethanol gas through) sets with one press of the gas pedal. I replaced the rotted exhaust pipes with stainless dual pipes (pictured) and Flowmaster Delta 50s (listen to the video with headphones to hear the lows; no, not cammed; completely stock!). The only other non-stock items are the yellow plug wires, the Pertronix ignition under the distributor cap that was wisely suggested by a friend to aid starting and running, and embroidered floor mats. Link to YouTube vid of cold startup: https://youtu.be/XrnNcckQ1gs?si=gUMne8RYeQw5q7fN All the windows work. The rear deck fan to keep the fog off the inside of the boattail window works. I think it is the original material on all seats with one small spot on the driver's seat near the console where the vinyl piping has worn through to the threads; all the other seats have no wear issues. Dash is perfect--NOT cracked and you can see in the pics how un-faded the woodgrain details and gauges are. As for the few things needing repair (that I happily cruised 10 years without): 1) the a/c (compressor, etc. all still there, and the inside fans and settings/levers/heater and even the scrolling-number thermostat still work), 2) the sunroof motor works but the panel is off the chain and has a scratch at the back. It slides back and forth by hand, which is how I used it--Dad doesn't remember when or how that happened, 3) a few dash bulbs are out and the clock doesn't work and 4) a mechanic said it could use new suspension bushings all around. All easy GM things to get. No unobtainable parts to go find. Like I said, everything is here. Includes a spare set of Radial T/As I only kept on 1 summer (see 1 pic) with maybe 1k miles, because I like her better on whitewalls and went right back. Current whitewalls are less than 5 years old. I'm only looking for her next worthy owner because I bought a motorhome and only have time to polish and pamper one whale.Serious inquiries only. No trades. Only Cashier's checks that clear my bank get you the clear title from my hand. 81five-26two-148seven.

  • Description:Used 1959 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday for sale - $36,000.00 with 73,000 miles. 1959 Oldsmobile Super 88 This Super 88 was a rare car in 1959 being one of only 20,259 made, this one even more rare as this is was a Canadian car. Offered in Blue over White that was redone in the late 80s. Slightly modified but, could be easily returned original form with some minor changes. I bought this car in 2015, it had been in storage for over 20 years. I spent one year going through the mechanical systems to insure it is safe to drive. It's been on two 3hr+ road trips to car show driving on major highways and running with traffic. The car is a joy to drive on the highway. This is a car I drive to cars shows and occasionally out to dinner. While very nice, this is a 64 y.o. car, it is not a immaculate concourse car that travels in a trailer. It does do very well at cars shows, it's gotten trophies in show with 800 to 1900 cars entered. that said there are small chips, nick, a few  very small rust spots. There are minor things, lie all old cars that can be done. Repainting will probably be needed in a few years. The chrome is all original and in outstanding condition for a car this old. All in all a very reliable cruise night car. To the best of my knowledge it has 73K miles on it. The 394 engine was rated at 315 hp. slightly higher now with the new exhaust system. The floor is solid, pic. include was taken when I installed new carpet. the original seats are under the leopard seat covers. there was a  2" tear in the fabric on the driver seat bottom. I'l sure it's larger now from me seating on it while driving. I put duel exhaust on as that was a factory option. However instead of the OEM style muffler/resonator I went with Flowmasters and finished with the bellflower pipes giving it a 60's SoCAL look and a nice low rumble at the intersections. Included are the original two pc. hub cap/beauty rings. I feel the Hollywood smoothies look better. I drive the car so instead of the original bias tire I have Coker whitewall radials.  I am very realistic on pricing which is rare today as everyone seems to think their cars are made of gold. This car will certainly appreciate in value.   TRADE? I am open to a pre1970 GM convertible, that is a driver, as long as you are realistic about your cars value. If you would trailer your car here to pick up the Olds, I would take that into consideration on the Trade Value of your Car. That said please don't waste your and my time with another offers.    Mechanically Rebuilt Transmission by Jasper, warranty goes with the car Flushed radiator, new hoses, thermostat New brakes Rebuilt generator New Headlights and Spot light bulb New voltage regulator New Battery New heavy gauge battery cables New fuel pump New sending unit in gas tank Rebuilt carburetor Plugs, Points, Condenser, Plug wires New Rear Springs NOS Hydraulic shocks  NOS power steering line New exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers Recent Alignment   Other Upgrades NEW Carpet & floor mats Wheels were powder coated Trunk Gasket White Wall Radials Snow Leopard Seat Covers Bellflower exhaust pipes JBL Bu-tooth speaker for your smart ph. Hollywood smoothie hub caps + origanal hub caps.   Video  On YouTube search:   1959 Oldsmobile Olds Super 88 Holiday Coupe White Blue Engine Sound My Car Story with Lou Costabile PLEASE read the description carefully, I have listed this car honestly and as accurately as I can.  Again this is a 64 y.o. car while a very nice cruise night driver, it is not perfect. Ask questions, I check messages daily, do your own research, I can arrange for an inspection on a lift but, you will have to pay for the shop time. Bid to own, the sale is final with no returns. I am willing to store the car at my home for 3wks until you can pick up or transport. Once I have received payment, I will overnight the Title. Wire transfer, Cash in person transaction, to be made at my bank during normal banking hours. I reserve the right to cancel the listing at anytime as the car is also listed on other sites. I will be putting the car in winter storage in October, the listing will be removed then.

  • Description:Used 1928 Ford Model A Roadster for sale - $37,500.00 Original 50's Hot Rod 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup First built in the 50's, then the last builder found the body in a scrap yard in the late 60's and proceded to build the car you see here in the early 70's. All original Henry Ford steel with the body channelled over a custom frame that is c-notched 6" in the rear. Original 1932 grille and shell that has been sectioned, filled, and peaked. Car runs a SBF based 331 stroker with Holley tri-power, Joe Hunt coil on distributor, early Cal Custom valve covers, power is transferred through a Ford C4 transmission to a Ford 8" rear end. Traditional front end with dropped axle, transverse springs and lever shocks. The original builders friend worked at a chrome shop, so all suspension and axles are nickel plated chrome. Below is a link to an article and video when the car won the Lokar Driven Award at the Detroit Autorama in 2018. The only difference is the car now runs a Holley tri-power. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2018-detroit-autorama-best-driven-award-lokar/ After Autorama and subsequent media coverage, the original builder, after losing contact with the car, contacted me, we had a long talk and it was as if he was standing next to the car, according to him, the only parts bought new at the time were the headlight stantions, everything else is custom. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
